Palm Springs Pizza Hut Robbed Again

Palm Springs Police are investigating an armed robbery at the Pizza hut the 1500 block of North Palm Canyon; the same location was robbed just three weeks ago.

An employee confirmed for NewsChannel 3 that an armed man entered the store at 9:30 pm on Tuesday night demanding cash.

Palm Springs police spokeswoman Rhonda Long said he then ran off from the restaurant to a nearby vehicle.

Officers were in the area within a two minutes of the call, but they weren’t able to find the robber.

The suspect was described as a black male adult, about 20-to-30-years-old, approximately 6 feet tall, with a thin build.

He wore dark clothing and a ski mask during the robbery, and drove off in a dark-colored sedan-type passenger car.

Anybody with information regarding this crime is urged to call the Palm Springs Police Department and/or Valley Crime Stoppers at 760-341 STOP (7867). Through Valley Crime Stoppers, witnesses to this crime can give information to the PSPD without revealing their identity. Plus, if the information leads to an arrest, the witness can earn a reward of up to $1,000 in cash.
