Palm Springs Stabbing Linked To Love Triangle
Police arrested a Desert Hot Springs man on Thursday night after another man was stabbed near a major intersection in downtown Palm Springs.
Palm Springs Sgt. Mike Kovaleff said officers arrived at the intersection of Indian Canyon Drive and Arenas Road at around 11:15 p.m., where they found man suffering from stab wounds.
The injured man told police he knew his attacker. He claimed it was a man who knew a female friend of theirs who was working in the area.
Palm Springs police detectives tracked down Alejandro Flores Duran, 23, of Rancho Mirage, at a home in Desert Hot Springs, where he was arrested at 4:45 a.m. Friday.
He was transported to the county jail in Banning, where he faces possible charges of attempted murder.
The stabbing victim was treated for moderate injuries and was listed in stable condition at a local hospital.
