Deputies serve search warrant for assault weapons in Desert Hot Springs
The Riverside County Sheriff Department served a search warrant at a home in Desert Hot Springs Thursday afternoon looking for assault weapons, says Cpl. Angel Ramos.
The operation began around 2:00 p.m. at a home on Cuando Way near Two Bunch Palms in Desert Hot Springs. Riverside County Sheriff Deputies along with the S.W.A.T. team was dispatched to serve the high profile warrant.
Several suspects have been detained says Ramos, but no arrests have been made at this time. The roadway was shut down for hours as police conducted the operation.
