Man arrested for DUI in Palm Desert
Palm Desert police responded to a report of an accident Saturday night around 9:45, at the intersection of Frank Sinatra Dr. and Cook St. Palm Desert.
Police say only one car was involved. The driver of a white Ford truck was traveling north on Cook St. when he lost control at Frank Sinatra Drive.
The truck overturned in the intersection.
The driver, 25 year-old Brent Michael Rausch from Cathedral City, suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
Police say alcohol and drugs were a factor in the crash.
Rausch was arrested for driving while intoxicated and booked into county jail in the city of Indio.
