Hard Rock Hotel looking to fill several positions
A job fair will be held today for potential employees of the Hard Rock Hotel, which is slated to open in Palm Springs this fall.
The fair will be held on Friday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Palm Springs Convention Center at 277 N. Avenida Caballeros.
About 100 full- and part-time jobs are available.
Applicants are asked to bring a resume and reference list. They can submit applications on site and will be interviewed upon passing an initial screening, according to hotel spokeswoman Therese Everett.
Positions to be filled include guest services, housekeeping, engineers, food and beverage service, pool attendants, retail and spa. Benefits include health insurance, paid vacation and holidays, opportunities for promotion and recognition programs.
Hard Rock International, which has 18 hotels around the world, is working with Kittridge Hotel Management to turn the Hotel Zoso at 150 S. Indian Canyon Drive into the Hard Rock. The 163-room hotel is scheduled to open Oct. 4 and is already taking reservations.
The hotel will have a spa and gym, gift shop, restaurant, lobby bar, pool and fire pits, along with 20,500 square feet of ballroom and banquet facility space and a business center.
In keeping with a music theme, the hotel will feature a VIP “rock star” suite, music memorabilia, and a program called “Sound Of Your Stay” allowing guests to download a personal playlist, play Fender guitars and mix music tracks.
