Search is on for 2 men in attempted robbery
The Riverside County Sheriff’s Department is investigating an attempted armed robbery at the Taco Bell on Avenue 48 near Jackson Street in Coachella.
Deputies say 2 men walked into the restaurant around 9:45 p.m. Friday night. They tried to rob the place. They were armed but it’s not clear what the weapon was.
They were unsuccessful and fled on foot. Deputies don’t have a good description of the men at this time.
