Indio man found safe after reported missing
The Indio Police Department said a 21-year-old man who was reported missing has been found in good condition. Orlando ‘Nano’ Arellano was apparently being treated at a hospital.
Officers said hospital staff recognized him from new reports and contacted police Wednesday night. The man was being evaluated and assisted for his ongoing health issues at the time.
His family hadn’t heard from him since Friday afternoon and they were concerned that he may have wanted to harm himself.
Arrellano has now been removed from the National Missing and Unidentified Persons System, officers said Thursday.
