PBS NewsHour to highlight CVUSD
PBS NewsHour will be featuring the Coachella Valley Unified School District Friday night.
District officials said the story on how CVUSD is eliminating the digital divide for students in the east valley through its Wi-Fi on Wheels Program will air from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. in all time zones.
A PBS TV crew and journalist, David Nazar, spent several days in the east valley talking to district administrators and families who benefit from the program. Viewers will get to hear directly from students and their parents about the impact technology has had on their education, both at school and at home, according to the release.
