SCE works to restore power in Palm Desert
Southern California Edison crews were responding to a Palm Desert power outage Tuesday morning.
It was reported at 5:15 a.m. and left 767 customers without service in the area of Hovley Lane East and Cook Street.
Equipment problems were blamed for the outage.
As of 7:30 a.m., the utility expected most customers to have their power restored by 12 p.m. noon. Edison initially estimated the restoration time as 7:30 a.m.
