Man shot in arm during attempted carjacking
One person transferred to hospital with a non-life threatening gunshot wound after an attempted carjacking in Indio.
The attempted carjacking happened a little before 9:30 p.m. on Dalea Avenue.
According to Sgt. Dan Marshall of the Indio Police Department, the victim suffered a superficial gunshot wound in their arm. The victim was transferred to a nearby hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Police are looking for 2 males of unknown race who were wearing dark clothing. They were seen leaving the area on foot.
