“Plain out, why did you kill him?” Grieving Thermal mother has questions for accused killers

A grieving mother is asking the community of Salton Sea Beach for help. She wants to bury her 38-year-old son, Adam Hall, who was murdered in their home on July 3.

With four suspects in custody and facing felony charges, she still has questions for them about the death.

“I don’t know why they did this to him, but that’s what I would ask,” Linda Walker said. “Plain out, why did you kill him? And the way you killed him, I mean, apparently, they hit him, they beat him first, and then stabbed him, and then used the extension cord to cut his throat.”

Three of the men accused of killing Adam, John Taylor, Edgar Gerardo, and Michael Guerra, were caught the same day as the attack. The fourth, Armando Taylor, was found two weeks later in Indio.

“The U.S. Marshals called me at 11:30 Saturday evening and told me that he had been arrested,” Walker remembered. “I wanted him to be caught and he was, I was scared … because I was scared that he would come back and try to kill me.”

All four suspects were believed to be Adam’s friends. Investigators have not revealed a possible motive.

Now, Walker is trying to scrape together enough money to bury her son, who she says had Cerebral Palsy since birth.

Walker has placed donation jars around the Salton Sea community and has set up an online donation page to help with funeral costs.

The message on the Go Fund Me Page reads:

Adam was murdered on July 3rd and i don’t have anyone else or the funds to pay for his cremation. He was going to be 39 years old on the 21st of August. He had cerebral palsy since birth. He had 17 surgeries on his left leg and 13 surgeries on his right one just to make him walk.
He was a little slow but he would have given anything he had to help some one in need. Please help
Thanks Linda Walker

“He loved everybody, he helped anybody, he would help anybody that asked him for something.” Walker said. “And I don’t know why they did this to him.”
