Summer Golf Tips: Setup for Success with Posture, Grip, Alignment
Nick DeKock, head golf professional at Thunderbird Country Club demonstrates the importance of posture, grip and alignment in making a good golf swing.
Nick says that good posture starts with good balance and relaxed arms. He then says the grip should be loose and comfortable, admitting there are thousands of different ways to hold the golf club. He finishes by saying that alignment may be the most important part of executing a good shot. To ensure good alignment, he says to draw a line from the body to the ball to the flag stick.
