SunLine, News Channel 3 partner for 6th ‘Pack the Bus’ drive

SunLine Transit Agency, News Channel 3, the Palm Desert Sunset Rotary, and Alpha Media are partnering for the 6th annual ‘Pack the Bus’ drive.

The event, which will benefit kids in the Coachella Valley, will be held in the Walmart Parking lot at 34500 Monterey Avenue in Palm Desert. The drive will be held on Thursday, July 25 from 5:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

“Donations can include backpacks, notebooks, crayons, water-based markers, pencils, colored pencils, notebooks, 3-ring binders, paper (for 3-ring binders), pink or white erasers, pencil boxes, rulers, safety scissors, pencil sharpeners, highlighters, index cards, calculators and glue sticks. All items should be new and unused,” reads a news release on the event.

The donations will be distributed by the Cathedral City Boys & Girls Club.
