RSO seeks forklift-joyriding juveniles in Thousand Palms
The Riverside County Sheriff's Department is seeking two juvenile suspects suspected of joyriding a pair of forklifts in Thousand Palms on Monday afternoon.
At 1:19 p.m., deputies responded to a report of two juveniles riding a pair of forklifts in the area of Calle Jessica and Datil Road in Thousand Palms. Upon arrival, the juveniles fled from deputies on foot.
The forklifts were left at the scene. It was not immediately made clear where the juveniles found the forklifts, but a man who responded after the incident to return the forklifts said they were taken from an area business.
The investigation is active. No suspects were in custody at the time of this publication.
