Gov. Newsom to allow some businesses to open on Friday with modifications
Governor Gavin Newsom says he'll be issuing guidelines on Thursday aimed at allowing some "lower-risk'' retail businesses to begin reopening as early as Friday.

Stage 2 of CA's roadmap to recovery would see the reopening of:
○ Retail (e.g. curbside pickup)
○ Manufacturing
○ Offices (when telework not possible)
○ Opening more public spaces
The possible modifications to the state order doesn’t mandate local governments to loosen restrictions. The Riverside County Board of Supervisors is set to vote on Tuesday on whether or not to remove the county order and follow the state's orders.

Newsom also said the state will also be issuing guidelines later this week that could allow some restaurants to reopen in select areas of the state, provided they meet protective standards approved by local and state
health officials.
