One month after Tropical Storm Hilary: Checking in with residents on where recovery efforts stand

It's been exactly one month since Tropical Storm Hilary made landfall in Southern California, bringing record rainfall and devastating flooding to the Coachella Valley.

Communities from Desert Hot Springs to Mecca and Thermal all experienced severe weather and the aftermath that followed, which varied from neighborhood to neighborhood.

Residents in the Panorama neighborhood of Cathedral City were among some of the hardest hit, with some homes and businesses getting up to 6 feet of mud.

News Channel 3 is checking in with residents to gauge where cleanup and recovery efforts stand and what residents need the most.
