Collision involving bicyclist and car in Indio

A bicyclist is suffering non life threatening injuries after a collision with a car just before 7:30 Monday night. The bicyclist was taken to an area hospital and the driver of the car was uninjured.

The collision happened on Indio Boulevard near 44th Avenue. Indio police say there is no immediate indication of what may have caused the accident.
