Homicide investigation continues after man found dead at Coachella ranch

The Riverside County Sheriff's Office is investigating a homicide after the body of a man was found in a Coachella ranch Tuesday afternoon.
The body was first reported to deputies at around 12:30 p.m. on the 83000 block of 51st Avenue.
According to the Sheriff's Office, the man had trauma and "obvious signs of death."
On Tuesday night, deputies and forensic teams continued to work, collecting evidence outside a blocked off home.
A News Channel 3 crew on scene also spotted evidence of markings and what appeared to be shell casings on the ground.
