RSO confirm deadly stabbing at Coachella Walmart was between a mother and daughter

The Riverside County Sheriff's Office confirmed the relationship between the suspect and the victim in Sunday's deadly stabbing at the Walmart Neighborhood Market in Coachella.
Investigators learned that the suspect was the daughter of the victim.
The victim was identified on Monday as Elba Estrada, 53, of San Bernardino.
Investigators said the suspect, a 22-year-old woman, had recently relocated to the Coachella Valley from San Bernardino.
The suspect has not been officially charged yet but is expected to be arraigned on Thursday. She is being held on $1 million bail at the Larry D. Smith Correctional Facility in Banning.

The Riverside County Sheriff's Department has identified the victim in a deadly stabbing at the Walmart Neighborhood Market in Coachella on Ave 48 and Jackson Street.
Investigators said that 53-year-old Elba Estrada was found on the ground with a stab wound Sunday night. Deputies said that first aid was given to Estrada but that she died at the scene.
During the investigation, Deputies learned that the suspect was a 22-year-old San Bernardino resident. She allegedly fled the scene, but was found and arrested.
Deputies said that the suspect was booked into the John J. Benoit Detention Center for the murder.
Deputies tell News Channel 3 that they got the call around 5:52 p.m. Sunday.
