Wet weather moves on
After a 3 day stretch of damp and cool conditions, the final numbers are in! The east valley accumulated between 0.25"-0.55" on average, with higher totals in the higher elevations.
The low pressure system that brought the abrupt changes to our desert weather is moving to the east. Southern California will continue to dry out through the night and into Friday, just in time for the weekend.
Mostly sunny skies return on Saturday as afternoon highs warm to what's normal for this time of year.
Enjoy the warm-up while it lasts, another strong Pacific system will move into California by Wednesday bringing more rain and snow to the holiday week.
