Palm Desert’s Louis Vuitton held up, police search for suspects

Riverside County sheriff’s deputies are searching for two suspects after the Louis Vuitton retail store on El Paseo was held up on Tuesday.

The robbery was reported just before 1:15 p.m. at the store located at 73-515 El Paseo inside the Gardens on El Paseo shopping area.

Sheriff’s spokesman Angel Ramos told KESQ a black female entered the store, stole an unknown amount of merchandise and pushed the clerks out of the way to get to a car that was waiting for her outside of the store.

The driver sped off, launching a search that is now spanning the entire Coachella Valley.

Anyone with more information was urged to call deputies at the Palm Desert station at 760-836-1600.
