Spraying to prevent West Nile spread scheduled
The Coachella Valley Mosquito Vector Control District has scheduled spraying to help prevent the spread of West Nile Virus.
What the district called “ultra-low volume ground applications” will be dispersed using truck-mounted sprayers, according to a statement released Monday.
Treatments will begin on Tuesday, June 26, between 7:30 p.m. and 10:00 p.m.
They will repeat for the next five nights, weather permitting.
Maps indicating the exact streets to be treated are available on the district’s website at www.cvmvcd.org
