County fair holding throwback photo contest
The Riverside County Fair and National Date Festival is holding a photo contest celebrating 70 years in Indio.
Winners will receive tickets to this year’s fair, which runs February 12-21.
The throwback photo competition will have 70 winners.
Photos must be from the years 1921-1995 and owned by the submitter. No web images will be accepted. A limit of five photos can be submitted per person. Images must show a recognizable aspect of the Indio fairgrounds having elements that exemplify the fun ten day fair.
Photos can be scanned and submitted digitally through email (in a high-resolution preferably) or take a high-resolution photo of your photo if you do not have access to a scanner.
