CVWD sends chromium-6 notices, says water remains safe, warns bills could double

CHP to deploy patrols targeting unsafe drivers during Thanksgiving

RIVERSIDE (CNS) – California Highway Patrol officers will ramp up operations beginning Wednesday night to snare drunken and drug-impaired drivers throughout the Thanksgiving holiday period. The agency will initiate its annual Thanksgiving “maximum enforcement period” beginning at 6 p.m. Wednesday, when all available officers will deploy to catch DUI suspects, speeders and other traffic violators.
