Police responded to reports of a shooting just before ten o’clock Friday night in the area of Ave El Mundo and Baristo Rd. As police got one scene they found three people with gunshot wounds. Officers were on scene immediately and found the crime scene in the area of the 31450 block of Sky Blue

Firefighters in Desert Hot Springs responded to a structure fire on 8th Street about 7:00 p.m.. Firefighters say the fire was in an outbuilding and no homes were threatened. Two major roads have reopened in Palm Springs after flooding in the Whitewater Wash created problems for thousands of drivers in the Coachella Valley.
