Covert Pot Operation Busted In Yucaipa

YUCAIPA – Three men were arrested, this week, after police uncovered what was built-up to be a “super covert” marijuana sales operation.

Acting on a tip, investigators began watching a suite in a business complex in the 35000 block of Avenue A in Yucaipa. Witnesses said they saw people coming and going from the office with large and small bags and sometimes suitcases.

A judge issued search warrants which let investigators search inside the business and two homes. In the homes, they found at least 28 marijuana plants being cultivated, and inside the business, they found a large amount of processed marijuana.

Thirty-five year-old Anthony Moore of Yucaipa was arrested, and identified as the leader of the operation. Thirty-five year-old Montigo Irvin and Nick Hoytwere identified as an accomplices and also arrested. They all face charges of possession of marijuana for sale.
