Two Men Shot Near Airport; Police Search For Shooter
PALM SPRINGS -Palm Springs Police are still looking for a gunman on the loose, today.
Police say two people were shot yesterday afternoon just before 3pm at the corner of Ramon road and Vella, just south of the airport.
Witnesses say thegunman stopped at the light, got out of his car, and then opened fire on the car behind him, hitting the driver and passenger.
The gunman then took off.
The victims drove themselves to Desert Regional Medical Center; they are expected to be ok.
We still don’t know the motive of the shooting or if the gunman and the victims knew each other.
