Gas Prices Fall For 4th Day

RIVERSIDE -The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in the Inland Empire fell one-tenth of a cent today to $3.040, marking the fourth decline in six days.

The average price in Riverside and San Bernardino counties is seven-tenths of a cent less than a week ago, but 13.5 cents more than a month ago and $1.023 above this time last year, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.

The average price fell three-tenths of a cent on Wednesday; rose one-tenth of a cent on Thursday; fell seven-tenths of a cent on Friday and a half-cent on Saturday; and rose three-tenths of a cent on Sunday.
