Two Teens Arrested After Palm Springs Hit-And-Run Accident

Two teenagers were arrested on Friday after a hit-and-run crash in Palm Springs.

It happened around 12:30 p.m. on E. Palm Canyon Drive near Farrell in the Smoke Tree Shopping Center.

Police say the two teens were backing up in a car when they hit a pedestrian.

The woman was knocked down, and was cut in the face. Paramedics said she should be okay.

The two teens then allegedly tried to drive off, and in the process hit another car trying to leave the parking lot.

Police said they ditched the car, and then hid inside a condo complex.

With the help of K-9 patrols, police found and arrested the two teens.

One had a juvenile warrant for probation.

They are now both charged with felony evading.
