New Fundraiser Planned For Cathedral City Officer’s Family
Another Coachella Valley business plans to hold a fundraiser to assist the family of fallen Cathedral City police officer Jermaine Gibson.
TKB Deli announced it will hold the event on Friday April, 8.
The deli and bakery, located at 39420 Berkey Drive in Palm Desert, will donate 50 percent of its proceeds for the entire business day to the Jermaine Gibson Memorial Fund.
TKB Deli is open from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., and is located behind the Del Taco near the intersection of Varner and Washington on the north side of Interstate 10 in Palm Desert.
Gibson was killed when his patrol car lost control during a pursuit on South Palm Canyon Drive in Palm Springs.
