Palm Desert Attorney Named to State Athletic Commission

Palm Desert attorney Mary Lehman, a former professional boxer, was named today by Gov. Jerry Brown to the California State Athletic Commission, which oversees boxing and mixed martial arts.

Lehman, 49, has been a civil appeals attorney at the Law Offices of Mary A. Lehman since 1995.

The position requires Senate confirmation.
