Stolen car found after chase in Indio
Indio Police say they recovered a stolen vehicle Monday night after a high speed chase through the streets of North Indio.
They found it close to where the chase began near Jackson Street and Highway 111.
Police and a C.H.P helicopter were involved in the pursuit along Jackson St..
They ended the chase near the Indio Auto Mall by Adams St. and Varner.
When they eventually found the car, a tan Nissan Morano, the driver was gone.
The vehicle was stolen from the 46-200 block of Jackson St., close to where the chase began.
Sunday night, another car was stripped and stolen from the same neighborhood.
