Firefighters called to blaze at mobile home park in Indio
Cal Fire is responding after a mobile home caught fire in Indio Wednesday afternoon.
Officials said the fire sparked at the Sunnyside Estates on Bush Street, located at 47800 Madison Street in Indio, at 1:45 p.m. There was light smoke coming from the roof of the mobile home when crews arrived.
Cal Fire officials said the fire is confined to roofing material and it hasn’t been contained yet. Firefighters are expected to be on scene until around 3:30 p.m.
