San Bernardino Valley College closed after bomb threat

Classes are canceled at San Bernardino Valley College a day after a bomb threat cleared the campus.

Students and staff were sent home around 5:30 p.m. Monday after the threat was made.

Officials decided to cancel classes Tuesday during finals week as school police continue to investigate.

Details of the threat were not revealed.

The community college near downtown San Bernardino serves about 12,000 students each semester.
