Earthquake shakes southern Mexico
A 6.4 magnitude earthquake shook a coastal area of Southern Mexico Thursday.
The U-S Geological Survey says the quake was reported at 11:49 a.m. PST near the city of Tres Picos.
It is approximately 80 miles northwest of Mexico’s border with Guatemala.
The quake was initially reported as a magnitude 6.6, but downgraded once reviewed by seismologists.
No word yet on any damage or injuries.
