The Force is strong with movie goers
‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ is no longer in a galaxy far far away. It’s here, and people in the valley have been lining up to see it.
“Disney bought it four years ago and then three years ago we got the announcement that we are getting a movie, and now we’re here, it’s been a long time I have been waiting for this for a long time, I’m really excited,” said Lucas Bundia of Indio. He waited in line for more than two hours to see the movie.
Some people waited in line for hours to make sure they got a good seat and had to find ways to keep busy.
“We’re just waiting for the movie and I decided to just take some time and we have about two hours to kill so I just started drawing,” said Sid Cawile who was doing pencil drawings of Star Wars characters while he waited in line.
Many movie goers have high hopes for this latest episode in the Star Wars saga.
“Hopefully J.J. Abrams does a good job revamping everything but keeping to like that same original feel to it so high hopes,” said one movie fan who was dressed as a Jedi.
Box office analysts predict the movie could make at least $200 million this weekend alone. It also has a shot of setting the u-s record for biggest opening weekend ever.
