Palm tree fire burns close to Palm Springs home
Palm Springs Firefighters made quick work of a palm tree fire that burned very close to a home on Avenida Cabelleros Monday morning.
The fire was reported around 11:15 a.m. A viewer sent us a video clip of the fire before crews arrived. A neighbor could be seen using a garden hose trying to stop the fire from spreading.
When firefighters arrived at the home, they found 4 palm trees on fire. They were able to put the fire out quickly before it spread to the home. No word on what caused the trees to ignite.
