Major step forward toward a No Kill Coachella Valley

It was a major step forward in the effort to become a No Kill Coachella Valley. More than $70,000 was raised for the animals in our valley at Luke’s Legacy Foundation’s annual Fashion Fling. The event was Monday, March 13th at The Hideaway Golf Club in La Quinta.

More than 250 people attended, raising money for Luke’s Legacy Foundation’s critical spay and neuter work. Spay and neuter helps stop the reproduction of unwanted pets, helping to decrease the number of homeless pets on local streets and in valley shelters.

It funds SNIP, the valley’s only mobile spay and neuter van. SNIP travels throughout the valley providing low cost spay and neuter for your pets. The cost is $25 dollars to get your pet fixed.

To donate to SNIP, or to make an appointment to get your pet spayed and neutered, call 760-366-1100. For Spanish, call 760-366-1105. For more information go to SnipBus.org.
