One injured in Beaumont brush fire

A brush fire Saturday injured one person, burned four vehicles and destroyed an outbuilding in Beaumont.

The fire was reported at 12:24 p.m. in the 10000 block of Beaumont Avenue, said April Newman of the Riverside County Fire Department.

One person was treated at the scene for a minor burn, she said.

The blaze destroyed an outbuilding on the property and four vehicles, among them a travel trailer, according to Newman.

It took 20 firefighters about 40 minutes to contain the fire to one-quarter of an acre.
