Officer in controversial video no longer employee of DHS PD

The police officer in the controversial video of an arrest is no longer an employee with the Desert Hot Springs Police Department, the chief confirmed.

The officer was originally under investigation for possibly blocking his body cam during the arrest, however, Chief Dale Mondary said he is confident in saying he was not blocking his body cam.
