Suspect search underway in Rancho Mirage
Riverside County Sheriff's deputies located a stolen vehicle off Tunis Road in Rancho Mirage on Saturday shortly after 3 p.m.
Deputies believed the suspect entered an empty residence which led to an investigation throughout the neighboring area.
In their attempt to get the suspect in custody, they asked residents to remain inside.
A helicopter with the department was on scene to assist with the search.
According to Riverside County Sheriff's Department there were no arrests and no reported injuries on Tunis Road.
