An issue, they say, gets worse every year. Road closures are keeping most people out of the area, including potential customers.
The impacts go far beyond customers, including making it difficult for employees to get to and from work and access to delivery services.
Business owners are asking for the city of Palm Springs to invest more resources into solving this problem.
“This needs to be open for people, convenience, our community, we’re not a 10,000 people community anymore, we’re grown substantially. They need to look at that, not act like it’s a part time community. We’re not part time anymore, we’re full time.”
