One hospitalized after rollover crash in Palm Springs

PALM SPRINGS, Calif. (KESQ) - One person was hospitalized after a rollover crash Monday evening in Palm Springs.

The crash was first reported at around 7 p.m. in the area of Baristo Road and Sunrise Way.

Police told News Channel 3 that a Nissan sedan was traveling at a high rate of speed when they struck the rear side of another vehicle stopped at the red light. After the collision, the Nissan became airborne and landed on its roof.

The Nissan's driver was transported to the hospital with moderate injuries. The other driver did not report any injuries, police confirmed

Drugs and alcohol did not appear to have been a factor in the collision, police added.
