Two people taken to the hospital after a three-car crash in Coachella
Two people went to the hospital after a three-car crash in Coachella Saturday evening.
Deputies responded to the area of Avenue 48 and Grapefruit Boulevard just after 9 p.m. The driver of one of the vehicles attempted to flee the scene.
Officials said civilians who witnessed the crash detained the driver until deputies arrived.
Deputies are still investigating but said the crash is being investigated as a possible DUI.
