To Paraphrase Sonny & Cher: The Heat Goes On…

Highs will increase a few degrees, and threaten the 107 record for today. Today and tomorrow will be the peak of the heat (with some signs indicating today may be the hottest day). The Excessive Heat Warning remains in effect.

High pressure is gradually weakening, but it's at it's zenith today, so we'll continue to see highs above 105.

As the high pressure system weakens and moves farther Southeast, we'll see modestly cooler numbers Friday, with bigger improvements from the weekend into early next week as temperatures slowly settle closer to normal (90).

We encourage you to stay hydrated, stay cool and stay safe!
