Man acting as bail agent charged with murder in Palm Springs shooting, woman still sought in investigation

UPDATE: Fabian Herrera, 36, has been formally charged with murder in the killing of 33-year-old David Spann. The Riverside District Attorney announced the charges Wednesday. If convicted, Herrera could face 50 years to life in prison. The murder charge came with a sentencing enhancement alleging Herrera intentionally discharged a firearm and caused great bodily injury.
