Blake Arthur and Bailey Arredondo have featured local high school seniors throughout the 2022-2023 school year with the "Student-Athlete of the Week" segment. From this year's seniors who were showcased, the KESQ News Channel 3 Sports Team has selected three boys and three girls to be nominated for "Student-Athlete of the Year."
The two winners (one boy and one girl) will be announced during a brand-new half-hour special airing Sunday, June 11th at 5:00 p.m.
In addition to earning "Student-Athlete of the Year" honors, My Thai restaurant will present $1000 to the winners’ school.
The Student-Athlete of the Week segment features local high school seniors who are strong students, standout athletes and leaders in the community.
The majority of our featured seniors were nominated by coaches or parents.
