Three people recovering after Desert Center rollover
Three people are recovering after a single vehicle rollover on Interstate 10. It happened just after 1:00 a.m. Saturday morning on eastbound Interstate 10 west of Corn Springs Road in Desert Center.
When crews arrived, the vehicle was on its roof with all three occupants out of the car. Two people were taken to a local hospital with moderate injuries, and a third was airlifted with major injuries.
The I-10 was shut down while crews loaded the patient into the air ambulance. No word on the cause of the crash. All lanes on I-10 are back open this morning.
