‘Clear Our Shelters’ initiative aims to get shelter pets into homes

Three local non-profits teamed up to lower adoption fees and encourage adoption at the Palm Springs Animal Shelter. You can adopt a pet for just $20 this week.

Three local animal groups have donated to the shelter to lower adoption costs. Luke’s Legacy Foundation, the SNIP Bus and the Bianca Rae Foundation are working to eliminate the need to euthanize unwanted animals around the desert.

The lower-cost $20 adoptions run through Sunday, May 21st. The special is good for any dog or cat six months and older.

There have already been 23 adoptions! Palm Springs Animal Shelter hours this week: Wednesday 11AM-5PM Thursday 1-7PM Friday 11AM-5PM Saturday 11AM-5PM Sunday 11AM-5PM
