Samuel Bernal is one of the stations most requested and popular DJ’s. He has a very positive and upbeat personality that locals love. Sammy is the personality that spends the most time hosting station remotes and events for the local community and thus serves as the face of La Poderosa 96.7.
Born in Jalisco, Mexico Sammy studied broadcast radio in Columbia School of Broadcasting in Hollywood CA. He began his career in the early 90’s serving as a celebrity presenter for many events and concerts in addition to being the official voice for Unison Records in Los Angeles CA.
Sammy has been a part of the KUNA-FM La Poderosa 96.7 team for over 20 years. His connection with the local public makes him a key person in promoting charitable events such as the annual St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital Radiothon in March.
